Program Overview

The Project Children SWT Program is a 7 week cultural exchange program. It give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in American culture. It has three components:

  1. The first week of the program is spent volunteering with Habitat for Humanity on one of their projects in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Work alongside your fellow interns and with American volunteers. This week provides a great opportunity to get to know your fellow interns and bond.
  2. Experience the US working environment by interning with a US company for 6 weeks.
  3. Experience the US way of life by living with an American host family.
